WalesWales is sixth right now, previously in seventh on the IRB World Rankings, they have been seeded into Pool D below France and England. They are going to take on South Africa for their first Rugby World Cup match, on September 11th at 20:30 in Wellington. Next, Wales will play Samoa in Hamilton in a match at 15:30 on September 18th. The other two matches that Wales will play are in New Plymouth and Hamilton. The first is on September 26th against Namibia and the other is on October 2nd at 18:00 against Fiji.

Huw Bennett and Lloyd Burns are both Hookers for Wales. Bennett comes from the Ospreys and Burns from the Gwent Dragons. Ken Owens is also a Hooker. Ryan Bevington from the Ospreys is a Prop and Adam Jones from Cardiff Blues is playing as well. Andy Powell from the Sale Sharks is a Flanker and so is Dan Lydiate from the Newport Gwent Dragons. Flankers include Dan Lydiate, Andy Powell and Sam Warburton and Toby Faletau and Ryan Jones from the Ospreys and Scarlets are number eights. Lee Byrne from Clermont is the sole Fullback.
