Argentina will look to atone for their poor performance in Salta last week when they take on England in the second test in the capital city of Buenos Aires. See Argentina v England live by joining today.

The Pumas were no match for Stuart Lancaster’s men as they lost 3-32. David Strettle, Billy Twelvetrees and Ben Morgan all scored tries as England lead 25-3 at the break. The second half was scoreless till Billy Vunipola added a late fourth try for the visitors. Freddie Burns kicked three conversions and two penalties for England.

Martin Bustos Moyano scored Argentina’s only points of the game and even despite the fact that they were without the likes of Fernandez Lobbe and Imhoff, the Pumas would have been very disappointed with the way they capitulated in the first half.

Centre Twelvetrees in particular was a constant threat but England will be without him for the second test after he was called up to the Lions Tour as an injury replacement. Lancaster gave five players their debut in Salta- Matt Kvesic and wing Christian Wade in the starting XV, while prop Henry Thomas, centre Kyle Eastmond and number eight Billy Vunipola came off the bench.

Argentina will look to emulate their 24-22 win over England four years ago in Salta when they meet Stuart Lancaster’s side at the same venue this weekend. See live streaming action from Argentina v England on your computer by joining today.

The Pumas stunned England in 2009, when two tries from Juan Manuel Leguizamon and Gonzalo Camacho, coupled with fourteen points from the boot of Juan Martin Hernandez, took them to a famous two point win.

Coach Santiago Phelan has rested some of his premier internationals but the squad, captained by veteran centre Felipe Contepomi, is still a strong one. Kings flanker Tomas Leonardi will be one to watch out for, while his club team mate Nicolas Vergallo will be on the bench.

England crushed Consur XV 41-21 in a warm up game a few days ago, with Billy Vunipola marking his debut with a hat trick. Ben Foden, Tom Wood and Paul Doran Jones also scored for Stuart Lancaster’s men. England will be without Alex Corbisiero who will fly Down Under as a replacement for the injured Lions player Cian Healy. Joe Marler will take Corbisiero’s place in the starting XV.
