The Brumbies will hope to make home advantage count when they host rival Australian side the Rebels in Canberra Stadium on Saturday. With 35 points, the Brumbies are just one point behind the three sides occupying the wildcard play-off positions. However, the Canberra based outfits have played a game more than their rivals, and can't afford any slip ups in their last three regular season games, if they want to maintain their hopes of a chance of taking the Super Rugby crown in 2014.

Form very much suggests another home win, which will set the Brumbies up for a strong push for the play-offs, when Super Rugby returns after the international break. The home team has named Clyde Rathbone in the starting XV for the first time since last year's Super Rugby final. Pat McCabe also ears a call up to the run on XV, with Ruan Smith making his first starting appearance for the Brumbies since 2013.
