Saturday 23rd May 17:10 GMT

The Stormers begin a vital run of home fixtures on Saturday when they host the touring Rebels from Melbourne in Round 15 of Super Rugby 2015. The Cape Town based franchise had a bye last weekend, but prior to that they defeated the Brumbies on their own soil by 25-24, which happened to be their fourth win in five games. If they can beat the Rebels on Saturday, and form would suggest that it is the most likely outcome from the fixture, they will have completed a clean sweep of wins against Australian opposition this season. The Waratahs and the Force were both beaten when the Stormers went on tour.

The Stormers who trail the Bulls by just one point, have three successive home games, with the Cheetahs and the Lions both coming to Cape Town, after Saturday's match. They will conclude their regular season campaign with an away game against the struggling Sharks.

The Melbourne Rebels are still clinging to hopes of making the play-offs themselves, although the hammering they took in Brisbane against the Reds, where they lost 29-46, has not helped their cause. The Rebels have produced some good results on the road in 2015, with three wins from six games outside of Melbourne. However, since their formation, the Rebels have yet to enjoy victory on South African soil, and six of their eight losses have been by at least 13 points.
