Toulouse will hope that their is no upset to the form book on Saturday, when they welcome Oyonnax to the Stade Ernest Walon on Saturday. The club that has won more French titles than any other, are in third place in the Top 14 Orange table after nine rounds of fixtures, just two points behind the stumbling table leaders, Clermont Auvergne.

On Saturday, their visitors are Oyonnax, who are rock bottom of the table, and have managed just two wins this season so far, while losing the other seven matches they have played. Toulouse have an unblemished record in front of their own fans in this season's tournament, with four wins out of four, including a 52-12 crushing of Grenoble in Round 8.

Oyonnax in complete contrast, have played four times away from home, and have each and every one of these fixtures, and to make matters worst, they haven't even managed so much as a single losing bonus point thus far. Only Toulon, who have managed to score 35 tries this season, have managed more than the 27 that Toulouse have posted. While only Brive have conceded 11 tries in nine matches, can better the 14 that Toulouse have had scored against them. Oyonnax have conceded 34 tries, which is the worst defence in the tournament.

The Toulouse against Oyonnax Barrage on Saturday, provides a fairy tale match, in stark contrast to the Parisian derby that takes place on Friday. Toulouse who have more French titles to their name than any other club, host the minnows of Oyonnax, a side representing an Eastern French town that has only 23,000 inhabitants. What's more, this is the climax of only the second season in the Top 14 Orange for Oyonnax, who very nearly made an instant return to ProD2 at the end of last season.

Their success has been built on the foundations of a pack that has been in awesome form this season, and the boot of the Argentinian Benjamin Urdapilleta. A club with the smallest budget in the top division, have found a playing pattern that fits their strengths, and have stuck rigidly to it.

However, even then, Oyonnax needed a huge slice of luck to clinch sixth place. Only a missed conversion by Bordeaux-Begles Lionel Beauxis against Toulouse, allowed the underdogs to finish above Bordeaux. While Oyonnax advanced to the play-offs, and also a place in next season's Champions Cup, Bordeaux head to a play-off on Friday against Gloucester, for a Champions Cup spot.
