Super Rugby Fixes Announced for 2012

Greg PetersThe opening game of the 2012 Super Rugby Series will features the Blues and the Cruaders and will happen on February 24th. There will be two other matches that same day, one in Pretoria between the Bulls and the Sharks and the other in Canberra with the Brumbies taking on Western Force. The next day, the Reds will try to defend their title with a match against the Warahahs in Sidney. Saturday is full of several games in the 2012 season including the Chiefs taking on the Highlanders and the Stormers playing the Hurricanes in Cape Town.

Greg Peters who is the CEO of SANZAR recently mentioned, that it was really hard to up the draws because the playerbase is taken from three geographical regions. He also said that the draw is always challenging and that he wants to start the new season off with some great match-ups in each of the territories. This is going to be another great season of the Super Rugby cup, and these competitions that will start the new season for the series are specifically set up to be challenging matches for both of the teams.

Previously, the series was called the Top 15 but after one team left the competition they are now known as the top 14 and they are starting the sixth season in 2012. Here are the teams that will be playing. The Bulls and Stormers are playing on Saturday and other teams include the Reds, Blues, Sharks and much more. Other teams as well are the Cheiefs, Cheetahs and the Lions This is going to be a brand new exciting the Super 12 t.
