Tomas Vallejos Leaving Harlequins to Join Scarlets

Tomas VallejosTomas Vallejos, a lock for Argentina has just announced that he will be leaving the team he has spent the last two years with, the Harlequins, to join the Scarlets. He was a replacement when they won against Leicester in the Aviva Premiership finale last month, played in Twickenham and ending 30 to 23. The news was confirmed using Twitter, with him tweeting that after a long period of negotiation that he was very happy to be joining Llaneli Scarlets, adding to his message that he was really “looking forward to it.”

Tomas Vallejos played in Italy for Parma before he joined the Harlequins and he is a welcome addition to the Scarlets, who have had to deal with the loss of three players, Damian Welch, Lou Reed and Dominic Day. Last year's Rugby World Cup saw Tomas Vallejos win one cap for the Pumas and he was a representative of Argentina in the Under as well playing the Under 17, Under 18, Under 20 and the Under 23 levels. c
